Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Independent Chair Facilitator for an Adult Safeguarding Board for Essex County Council based in Chelmsford. This is a 3 year contract working up to 35 days per year.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an individual with substantial knowledge and experience of Adult Safeguarding Policy and Practice. Someone who understands the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal and who is passionate about ensuring that vulnerable adults receive the best possible service from both our statutory agencies and those across the voluntary and private sector who support in making this happen. You will need to demonstrate extensive experience in chairing strategic partnerships.

Are you someone who can communicate well in a range of settings from public meetings to briefings for County Councillors and who is confident to engage with Senior Managers across a range of organisations? Can you offer an independent voice, representing the views of all partners whilst retaining the ability to challenge around improvement and effectiveness when required? You will need to be:
