Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to work for Sutton Council.

Job Purpose

• The Council has a number of key services that are outsourced to the private sector for delivery.
• These arrangements have come about over a number of years with decisions being taken on a case by case basis.
• There is a significant amount of resource dedicated to the process itself, however stretched resources and time constraints mean contracts often slip into a steady state routine which can inadvertently ignore key factors of the contract which bear closer scrutiny.
• The Council needs to ensure that the resources, expertise and capacity for clienting and contract management is available moving forward and focused on the right areas to continue to ensure major contracts deliver as effectively as possible for the organisation and our residents, communities and businesses.
