Graduate Teaching Assistant - Lambeth

Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £100 - £115 per day

Remedy are supporting a range of welcoming and well-regarded schools in Lambeth who are looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants. These roles involve supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.

This position would suit someone with prior experience in a school or care setting, as well as graduates considering a future career in education or educational psychology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for students with SEN and SEMH needs
• Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support individual learning plans
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting
• Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
