Remedy Education are currently on the lookout for a Food Technology Teacher for a High School in Harrow.

Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (or achievement of this by 1 September 2017)
* Highly effective classroom teacher who can deliver high quality lessons with great consistency
* Excellent subject knowledge, experience of teaching Food Technology/Catering at KS3/KS4
* Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues in a very busy department
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
* Ability to communicate effectively and to form good working relationships with young people
* Knowledge of a range of creative and effective techniques for engaging students in their learning - in
the delivery of both theoretical and practical elements of food technology and ICT
* A strong belief in the potential of all young people to succeed and a particular drive to ensure students
overcome learning challenges (such as those with special educational needs or who have English as an
additional language)
