Responsibilities of English Lead Teacher:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive and engaging English curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes language proficiency, critical thinking, and literary analysis.
• Lead a team of English teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching effectiveness and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Design and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies.
• Foster a love for literature and language by introducing students to a wide range of literary works, genres, and authors from diverse cultures and time periods.
• Cultivate students' writing skills through structured writing workshops, providing feedback and guidance to help them develop their voice and improve their written expression.
• Promote active reading and comprehension skills through thoughtful discussions, analysis, and interpretation of literary texts.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that integrate English with other subjects, fostering cross-curricular connections.

Requirements for English Lead Teacher:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or license in English or a relevant subject area.
• Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level, with a track record of student success.
• Strong knowledge of English language, literature, grammar, and composition.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide and inspire a team of teachers.
