Remedy Tutors are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to support children and young people aged 4-16 through assessment and intervention, particularly in relation to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This is a flexible, 0-hour contract role, ideal for professionals looking to manage their own caseload while making a meaningful impact across a range of educational settings.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments using:
- Observations
- Standardised tools
- Interviews with pupils, families, and professionals
- Produce high-quality psychological reports to support:
- EHCP assessments
- Intervention planning
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations tailored to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with:
- Schools and teaching staff
- Families and carers
- Manage a flexible caseload, maintaining high professional standards

🎓 Essential Requirements
- Doctorate in Educational Psychology (DEdPsy) or equivalent
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Eligibility for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and writing reports
- Experience supporting:
- SEMH (social, emotional, mental health needs)
- Autism and ADHD
- Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches

- Experience completing EHCP assessments
