Remedy Tutors are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to support children and young people aged 4-16 through assessment and intervention, particularly in relation to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This is a flexible, 0-hour contract role, ideal for professionals looking to manage their own caseload while making a meaningful impact across a range of educational settings.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments using:
• Observations
• Standardised tools
• Interviews with pupils, families, and professionals
• Produce high-quality psychological reports to support:
• EHCP assessments
• Intervention planning
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations tailored to individual needs
• Work collaboratively with:
• Schools and teaching staff
• Families and carers
• Manage a flexible caseload, maintaining high professional standards

🎓 Essential Requirements

• Doctorate in Educational Psychology (DEdPsy) or equivalent
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
• Eligibility for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and writing reports
• Experience supporting:
• SEMH (social, emotional, mental health needs)
• Autism and ADHD
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches

• Experience completing EHCP assessments
• Background working in:
