Job description

Qualified Social Worker, CIN, North London, up to £32ph

If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Children in Need, we want to hear from you.

You will be building effective relationship with the Child in question, to ensure a fully integrated and holistic approach.

Main duties include:

To assist the Team Manager, Leaving Care in managing the performance and day to day duties of Leaving Care work, including monitoring of homelessness and duty referrals and allocation of work.

To contribute to the development, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of Leaving Care services, by supporting the Team Manager in undertaking regular audits, and feeding findings back to the Service Manager

To assist the Team Manager in ensuring that the work of the team is allocated and to contribute towards the overall management, including financial management, of the team's workload, through on-going review of casework and duty demands.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Experience with Children in Need
