Coventry, Qualified Social Worker, Fostering Team

If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Fostering, we want to hear from you.

You will have knowledge of key legislation relevant to social care and adoption along with experience of managing a complex caseload.

Main duties include:

  • Provide a social work service to the client group.
  • Responsible for the implementation and co-ordination of complex assessments, the purchase of agreed packages of care, and the monitoring of service contracts in partnership with the client group and agencies and health professionals.
  • Responsible for the provision of casework and other social work services, to improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Produce reports for a variety of audiences including court reports.
  • Court work including the writing of statements of evidence

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England with ASYE complete
  • Experience of working with children subject to a child protection plan
  • Experience of children subject to high level children in need plan
  • Ability to input data to the Integrated Childrens Service system
