Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to work within Solihull Metropolitan Councils Adult Social Care.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with ability to work at pace to join us in delivering a busy and exciting work programme.

The main focus of this role will be the Commissioning lead on a range of business support functions: to provide assurance and ensure due diligence for commissioning functions including risk management, business processes and some directorate and corporate priorities. You will need to be flexible and have the ability to co -ordinate tasks in a timely manner, responding to changing needs and priorities. As a team player, committed to delivering excellent customer service, you will join a busy, dedicated team, undertaking a variety of tasks to provide administrative support to a variety of stakeholders. This is a full time role and occasional weekend

You will be expected to ensure processes and control measures are in place and have an ability to check the consistency of information that supports decision making drawn from different sources.

Currently working from home (normal office located in Solihull town centre), and reporting to the Strategic Commissioner for Market Management and Performance, this post offers you a diverse and rewarding opportunity to develop your knowledge in Adult Social Care.

About you:

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent or minimum NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, or experience in working in a similar role. You will be confident in IT and keyboard skills, with experience of using a range of systems and databases. You will have excellent attention to detail, able to handle and process a range of information securely.
