CAMHS Triage Nurse (B&D CAMHS) Band/Grade: Band 6

Responsibilities/Activities: To carry out initial assessment for young people and children, and most be confident to carry out mental state examination during assessment. To provide leadership, and to promote initiative, creativity and motivation in CAMHS where appropriate.

Skills/Experience Required: The post holder will be a nurse with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC).They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties, they will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessments, care planning and risk. They will have substantial CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience.
