Autism Teaching Assistant - The role

We currently require and experience Autism Teaching Assistant to work 2:1 with a child that is low functioning ASD and displays challenging behaviour. The child is in a KS2 classroom and has complex sensory needs and behavioral needs. The right person will have experience with working with Autism and will have training behind them like Team teach or MAPA. You must have experience with communication tools such as Makaton or PECS and be able to work along side another LSA to support this child.

They provide a lot of support and CPD training to their staff and would like someone that can hit the ground running.
