Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager to work within an Adults Mental Health Team for Wandsworth Council.

Job Purpose

We are looking to recruit two Assistant Team Managers for Mental Health. One based in Wandsworth Mental Health Social Care Team (based at Wandsworth Town Hall Extension) and one based in Richmond Mental Health Social Care Team (based at Twickenham Civic Centre).

The teams are Social Work teams undertaking all functions under the Care Act for working age adults with mental health needs. This includes Care Act assessments, Carers assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and Safeguarding Enquiries.

The key functions of the ATM role are, supervising others, providing case guidance and support, authorizing work, deputizing for Team Manager, undertaking Safeguarding Adults Manager role, undertaking Duty Senior role, managing the duty system, representing the service at multi-agency meetings, modeling good practice and managing the team allocations and waiting list.

It is a necessary requirement that applicants will need to have completed Safeguarding Adult Manager training.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
