Are you looking for an ASD Teaching assistant role to start in September?

Do you have experience providing 1-1 and in class support to pupils with ASD?


Would you like to work as an ASD Teaching Assistant in Eltham, South East London?

The Role:

We are working with a mainstream primary school that are looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant to join them in September 2021 on a Long term basis. The school will require you to support a small group of pupils who are all on the autistic spectrum and aged between 4 - 11 years of age. You will also be required to support pupils on a 1:1 basis when required. Experience working with other complex needs would desirable.

About You

* To build and maintain supportive relationships with students, treating all individuals consistently and with respect and consideration. To encourage acceptance and inclusion of all students.
* To work effectively as a member of the SEN Team
* To assist individuals and groups of students in developing knowledge, skills and attitudes as defined by the Curriculum. To take into account the learning support involved to aid the children to learn as effectively as possible.
* To prepare, use and maintain relevant teaching resources for use in small groups and by class teachers as required.

Have SEN experience within education preferably a Primary School setting
