Advanced Practitioner, Children's Services, Wigan

If you have current experience as a Senior Practitioner within children's services, we want to hear from you today.

You will ensure that practice is underpinned by the Deal principals and that the Signs of Safety model is embedded in all their work with children and families. You will demonstrate effective leadership and management to support staff.

Pay rate: £32 per hour

Main duties include:

  • Work alongside Practice Managers to ensure that the service meets all statutory requirement and practice standards.
  • Encourage reflection and learning in staff through leading by example, enabling learning circles, group discussions and reflective supervision.
  • Support the operational delivery of the team, including the development of excellent practice of the social workers.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE completed
  • Knowledge on local government frameworks along with relevant Children & Families legislation
