Job description
We re looking for an Approved Mental Health Professionals to work in a Promoting Recovery Team in our Integrated Adult Mental Health Service. The AMHP role will involve carrying out Mental Health Act assessment in a centralised duty team, which you will work on as part of a rota of staff with the support of a dedicated AMHP team leader and deputy team lead. You must be currently eligible for approval as an AMHP for this role.
Working as an AMHP in community mental health teams you will also undertake care coordination duties on a protected caseload of clients and participate in multidisciplinary team work. You will be expected to bring a strong social care perspective and social work value base to the team. You must also have excellent assessment and care planning skills to enable you to carry out your role as a care coordinator. You will promote social inclusion and recovery principles in your work with service users and carers. You will thrive in working with people from diverse backgrounds and be able to promote equality of access to service and outcomes.
