This is a Social work qualified role so you must have an up to date SWE registration, and experience as a team manager in the early help/family support arena.

You must have significant experience of managing practitioners and team leaders who delivery early interventions to children and families.

Knowledge of safeguarding practice and the successful candidate will also be able to apply thresholds within early help knowing when it has reached a point that requires social work intervention or when the work has completed.

The skill set for this role include;
Excellent skills in engaging with both staff and the professional network
Clear understanding of where the early help team fits in with universal services and the charitable sector.
Excellent IT skills and understanding of data and how it informs practice
Experience in reflective supervision; strong decision maker; committed to ensuring good outcomes for children
Flexible approach and willing to work from the offices when allowed.
