Job description
Your duties will include;
To work with young people, parents or carers who are receiving a service from the Youth Offending Service |
To implement programmes of offending behaviour work and related programmes in conjunction with colleagues in the YOS. |
To undertake preventative work with young people identified as being at risk of offending (YISP). |
To supervise cases in accordance with the service allocation criteria including acting as responsible officer for low and medium risk offenders subject to court orders. |
To act as responsible officer for Parenting Orders (YOTs). |
To act as appropriate adult for young people being interviewed by the police under the provisions of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (ISSP). |
To transport young people to a range of venues including court. |
To prepare reports for Referral Panels and Youth Inclusion and Support Panels (YOT, YISP). |
To implement restorative justice activity (RJ). |
To liaise with victims of crime. |
