Our client Warrington council is looking for asocial worker to join their Adults team.

Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience completing timely community Care Act Assessments using a strengths based approach with a range of adult service user groups including older people, mental health, learning disability, physical disabilities etc.

Significant experience of conducting S42 (safeguarding enquiries).

Significant of completing mental capacity assessments in accordance with the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Significant experience of assessing risk and recommending proportionate risk management plans in crisis situations.

Significant experience of managing a demanding case load with the ability to work at pace and prioritise autonomously and effectively.

Reliable, motivated and flexible.

Holds full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle and able to work 37 hours per week.

You will need to be:

Social work england registered
Eligible to work in the UK
Atleast 1 year post qualifying experience
