We currently have an exciting vacancy within our Adult Community Mental Health Teams (North and South Localities) to enable us to strengthen our response to people experiencing mental health difficulties either caused by or exacerbated by COVID 19. You will bring new and innovative ways of meeting assessed needs and promoting positive outcomes for service users and their families and carers.
Social Work values and experience are highly valued in our mental health settings. A committed and passionate individual will compliment the existing CMHT staff group.

About the Role

You will be a skilled and reflective practitioner able to work alongside service users to make robust assessments and care plans which mitigate the impact of the pandemic on individual's mental health. You will provide rapid, effective access to support. You will work with people on a short-term basis to resolve their difficulties preventing any further worsening of their situation and to prevent crises.
You will work as a member of the CMHT promoting social work values and you will be confident working in multi-agency settings to develop care plans that include contributions from all agencies.
You will be joining a highly supportive and motivated team with a commitment to learning and practice development. You will receive regular supervision.

Some flexibility may be required outside core hours.

Essential requirements:
Degree in social work or equivalent qualification
Registration with Social Work England
ASYE Completed
