Job description
Our client, is looking for an Approved Mental Health Practitioner to join their team.
Trafford Council are looking to recruit an experienced social worker with an AMHP qualification for a six-month period to join our AMHP hub based in a small resource centre.
The AMHP team comprises three full-time workers and a senior. There is access to role appropriate training and supervision, and our AMHP forum meets regularly to discuss practice issues and legal updates.
Our AMHP team is both friendly and supportive with on-site colleagues who work together to deliver a professional and efficient service.
It is office based at 71 Chapel Road Sale. There is no option to work from home as the role is about going out on mental health act assessments.
Hours are Mon-Fri office hours, although on occasion late working might be required to complete assessment work.
Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
