Job description

Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Tennant Management Liaison Officer for a Local Authority in East London.

Job Purpose

To provide strategic and operational support to existing Tenant Management

Organisations (TMOs) in Hackney.

To develop and maintain an effective client financial and monitoring service.

To advise on, and monitor TMO governance, financial performance and service delivery.

To support and monitor progress of groups that wish to become TMOs and provide expert advice to existing TMOs on how to take on additional

responsibilities.

Provide support and assistance to TMOs so that they provide an excellent service to residents and manage their own affairs efficiently and democratically.

Carry out research which will assist in the implementation of emerging and existing TMO best practice. Communicate this information to TMOs and other stakeholders.

Prepare and implement internal audit and progress reports on financial and regulatory controls. Monitor the progress of the implementation of recommendations in audits and reports. Ensure compliance by analysing and selecting the most appropriate remedies available as allowed by each TMO Management Agreement.

Actively support residents who are interested in becoming a TMO, through the development process, in accordance with the Right to Manage Guidance.

Initiate, develop and maintain an effective client and monitoring framework for the TMOs ensuring performance targets, contractual obligations, financial programmes and service standards are met.

Ensure that TMOs provide information and performance data in order to monitor performance and standards. Collate and analyse this information in line with key performance indicators.

Compile monthly monitoring data for TMO performance reports including information on resources allocated to TMOs.

Arrange regular service review meetings with TMOs to monitor governance, finance, performance, and management systems, including compliance with employment law and equality & diversity legislation, ensuring TMOs are effectively managed.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
