Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within a Looked After Childrens Team for Surrey County Council.

Job Purpose

• Manage and develop a geographically based team providing social care services for looked after children (LAC) that enables them to achieve a strong identity, good health and achieve their maximum potential. Develop strength-based motivational practice so social workers and practitioners can build effective supportive relationships with children and young people and their families.
• Work collaboratively with partners to deliver effective and safe LAC services which are on time, within budget, and in accordance with statutory guidelines, policy and standards to ensure that children and young people's needs are being met and vulnerable children and young people are protected from harm.
• Drive an approach within the team that encourages children and young people to maintain positive contact with siblings and family members and supports a return to live with appropriate family members wherever this is compatible with their welfare and needs.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
