Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Team Manager for a Leaving Care Team for a Local Authority in Surrey.

Job Purpose

Manage and develop a geographically based team providing social care services for young people leaving care (LC) that enables them to achieve a strong identity, good health and achieve their potential. Develop strength-based motivational practice so practitioners can build effective supportive relationships with children and young people and their families.

Work collaboratively with partners to deliver effective and safe leaving care services which are on time, within budget, and in accordance with statutory guidelines, policy and standards to ensure that young people's needs are being met and vulnerable children and young people are protected from harm.

Ensure that young people leaving care in their area of responsibility have access to high quality health care, education, training and employment opportunities and to a range of suitable accommodation that provides a safe place to live, to support them in achieving their potential as they transition to adulthood.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
