Job description

The successful applicant for this role will work closely with the Service Manager responsible for Business Strategy to design, develop, and refine the recruitment processes for foster carers in the organisation.

This will include writing policies and statement of purpose for the operational delivery of the new Fostering Recruitment Team.

As the Fostering Recruitment Team Manager you will manage a dedicated team undertaking the recruitment and assessment of potential foster carers, ensuring the delivery of high quality and improve the quality and efficiency of the foster carer recruitment process.

In order to be successful for this role you must have;


* Previous experience of recruiting foster carers
* A good knowledge of the fostering assessment process
* A confident decision maker
* An excellent communicator with the ability to form strong working relationships both internally and externally
* An excellent eye for detail
* The ability to supervise others in the quality assurance of fostering assessments
