Team Manager - Swindon Borough Council - Assessment and Child Protection Team - Up to £45ph!

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Assessment and Child Protection Team - the role offers a Hybrid working model.

You will be one of two Team Managers who will have operational management responsibilities for two of the four teams within ACP Team. You will be the line manager to assistant team managers for supervision and management decision of new cases that have progress from MASH ensuring timeliness of performance and quality of service delivery. You will be dedicated and committed to social work practice, support good performance and robust quality assurance processes, and help staff to continually develop so that they have the skills needed to build resilience and facilitate positive change.

You will need to be able to evidence leadership and management experience within a children's social work teams and will need to be committed and have the drive to match this Local Authority's ambitions.

You should have in-depth knowledge of legislation, national guidance and best practice relevant to the post including statutory responsibilities relating to Children and Family Services, including appropriate quality standards and you'll be part of a team that achieve high levels of performance.
