The post holder will provide operational management to one of the three cluster teams. This role will line manage, support and supervise family and youth support workers and contribute to the strategic aims of the Protection and Early Help Service.

There will be additional responsibility for providing advice, guidance and professional supervision in your expert field for staff and senior managers across the organisation.

The post holder will support the Head of Family and Youth Support and Cluster Managers as the main cluster links to central services in the Local Authority, such as the Single Point of Access, Education Services and Youth Resilience Team.

Provide operational management to Family and Youth Support Workers including ensuring high levels of quality, effective case management and overall performance

Provide line management and supervision to Family and Youth Support Workers who support children and young people in the community, children centres and schools as well as provide effective support for parents and families

Provide overall responsibility for implementation of safeguarding, information sharing and risk assessment protocols within the Cluster Team, communicating risks/ issues early and taking account of personal safety and the safety of others.

Ensure that family plans are formulated, implemented and reviewed as part of a Team Around the Family/ Lead Professional approach and that information is effectively shared.
