About the role - Maths Teacher

I am currently working with this secondary school in Lewisham who are looking to appoint a qualified Maths Teacher in September 22. The school are looking for someone to teach Maths on a full-time, Long term basis where they will teach KS3 & KS4. The KS3 curriculum is designed so that all students are learning the same topic at the same time to encourage completion of independent tasks within the classroom. The KS4 curriculum follows the AQA new GCSE mathematics syllabus where students will follow either the foundation or higher scheme of work depending on prior assessments.

Across all key stages the following topics are covered:

• Number
• Algebra
• Ratio, proportion & rates of change
• Geometry & measures
• Probability
• Statistics
