Step into a Role Where You Truly Make a Difference

Are you an innovative and compassionate SEN Teacher looking for something more than just another teaching job? Are you ready to be part of something transformational?

We're recruiting on behalf of a brand-new, purpose-built SEN school in Brent opening its doors in 2025 - and we're looking for exceptional teachers who are ready to help shape the heart and soul of this exciting new provision from the ground up.

This isn't just another role - it's an opportunity to redefine education for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), MLD, SLD, and complex needs who haven't found their place in mainstream settings. You'll help build a school culture centred on belonging, emotional growth, and student-led learning.

What Makes This School Different?

  • Small class sizes and high adult-to-child ratios
  • A calm, nurturing, low-arousal environment
  • Integrated therapy support and holistic learning
  • A leadership team that values your ideas, your voice, and your passion
  • Flexible curriculum design with the freedom to innovate
  • An approach rooted in trauma-informed, attachment-aware practice

Your Role as SEN Teacher:

  • Teach Primary or Secondary-aged pupils (based on your expertise)
  • Design personalised lessons that are engaging, meaningful, and fun
  • Turn EHCP goals into real-life progress
  • Work closely with therapists, TAs, SENCOs, and families
  • Build trust with students who may have felt misunderstood elsewhere
  • Help shape school routines, values, and culture from Day 1

We're Looking For:

  • A Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong passion for SEN
  • Experience working with students with ASC, SEMH, or complex needs
  • Someone who can think outside the box, adapt on the fly, and meet learners where they are
  • A calm, empathetic presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive relationships
  • A natural team player who's excited to contribute to a brand-new setting

What You'll Get in Return:

  • Daily pay of £200-£250, paid weekly
  • Pathway to a permanent role with progression
  • Continuous CPD in therapeutic practice, inclusive pedagogy, and leadership
  • Mentoring from a hands-on, values-driven SLT
  • The chance to be part of a once-in-a-career journey - building a school that truly works for its learners
  • A warm, welcoming, and collaborative team that puts wellbeing first

About the Pupils:

The school supports children aged 7-16, all with EHCPs, and many with overlapping diagnoses (ASC, ADHD, SEMH). Some have struggled in previous schools - your role is to be the teacher who helps them re-engage, rediscover learning, and believe in themselves again.

If you're a creative, motivated, and heart-led educator who wants to teach in a school that feels like home - a place where your work really matters - then we want to hear from you.

Apply today with your CV or reach out to Remedy Education to find out more.

Let's build something extraordinary - together.
