Our client, Tameside Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Childrens Transitions team.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting Cared For Children to make the transition to adulthood. Leading on the Pathway Planning process for Eligible Care Leavers the role requires good understanding of the duties as set out in Volume 2 and 3 of the Children Act 1989.

The successful candidate will also evidence a good understanding of the Corporate Parenting principles and be able to provide examples of supporting Care Leavers to achieve best outcomes.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
