We work alongside the Greater Manchester Autism Consortium, so there are many training and development opportunities open to our Team. This job can be challenging but we support one another and it can be extremely rewarding. We need 2 additional colleague with enthusiasm and a willingness to act as part of a team to continue to develop skills and services for this cohort.

What's it like to work on the team - here's what our social workers say :

The people that we work with are appreciative there is a team dedicated to autism, who understand the condition more and show empathy towards them and their support needs.
The team welcomes innovation and collaborative problem-solving in order to look at ways to improve the lives of the often-overlooked cohort it was set up to help.
Training and seminars are made regularly available to those who wish to contribute, enhance or diversify their personal development.
