Job description

Our client, Southend Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their MASH team.

The role will also involve dealing with very challenging contacts, meetings and responding to families that are in crisis. The job will involve working strictly to policy and procedures of Southend Children's Services, involvement in extremely high risk decision making and the exercise of a high level of judgement and personal responsibility for the safety of children. It also involves to working to very demanding timescales. The post holder will be aware of and act within the legal framework for children and families will ensure that all case recording and monitoring are maintained at a high level.

Southend pay up to £8000 towards relocation

You can work from home, there are no set days that you can be at home or in the office, but you do need to be able to get on site, as and when needed

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
