Job description
Our client, Southend council is looking for a Team Manager to join their child protection team! £1000 when you first join as a golden hand shake and you receive new incentives
You will be managing a team of social work, care and administration staff and will be responsible for the provision of services to children and young people. This role will involve ensuring that child protection enquiries, assessments & support services are consistently completed to a high standard. You will need to provide formal, professional supervision to staff, ensuring that appraisals are undertaken, identify skills gaps or training needs. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the team's performance, standards and quality of work to ensure that the council complies with policy, procedures and professional standards.
- Southend pay up to £8000 towards relocation
- After 3 years and 1 day, you receive a payment of £7,500
Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
