Job description

Our client South Gloucestershire Council is looking for a Senior Children Social Worker to join their team.

Senior Social Worker - Long Term Child Protection Team (Assessment) Pay is fixed at £43 per hour limited Co. (PAYE adjusted to the equivalent total pay) and is non-negotiable. Please do not submit people wanting higher rates.

This post will act as a deputy / assistant to the two team managers, providing support to their teams and will be directed by them.

37 hour per week, no additional allowances - just a simple flat rate at an enhanced pay rate for which a regional exemption is in place from the MoC agreement. Normal permitted mileage applies for performing work duties (not commuting costs)

*** no direct mail ins, canvassing, spec ins to managers - liaise via marked "FAO Joe Scrase - re. Children agency workers" *** Preference given to immediate starts (cannot wait for perm notice periods) and those with previous experience in Child Protection / Safeguarding teams at a senior, ATM or TM level.

We use Mosaic as our records system, and our model of practise is Signs of Safety - previously experience is highly beneficial. Mosaic training will be provided regardless.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
