Job description

Our client, Solihull Council is looking for a Occupational Therapy Assistant Team Manager to join their busy Community Team, to provide support and supervision of their Occupational Therapists and Assistants who are completing assessments and providing services to residents in their own homes.

Experience of working in social care occupational therapy, supervising staff, knowledge of adaptations and equipment provision, moving and handling and wider practice is essential. The successful person will be adaptable to working from home with the ability to travel to and work from Solihull and to use our Liquid Logic recording system and link daily with staff and partners in delivery of services, responsible to the Team Manager.

Whilst the posts are for a 3 and 5 day commitment respectively, they may be open to a job share depending on which candidates come forward and service arrangements (service runs Monday - Friday). Applicants must hold a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
