School Caretaker - information about the role

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced caretaker in the Lambeth area. This position will require someone to start ASAP and have experience as a caretaker in a school setting, or a housing association.

This role will require the suitable candidate to have a general knowledge of maintenance and grounds work to ensure the runnings and and safety of the school grounds are as they should be. You must have the ability to deal with cleaning, store keeping, emergencies, lighting, security, heating and more. You will report to the schools premises manager.

Please note, that is is desirable but not mandatory to have worked in a school before.

School Caretaker - information about the school

Our clients require all candidates to have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service. This role will be in a primary school based in The London Borough of Lambeth. The required hours of the role with be within the school grounds from7.30am - 2pm, and the hourly rate will range from £12 - £15 per hour dependent on your experience.

Please note that the role may require you to be in earlier or stay later due to deliveries or to assist external contractors if necessary.
