Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to work within a Duty Triage and Assessment Team (DTA) for Wokingham Borough Council.

Job Purpose

• They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced locum to join the front door of Children's Services. The right candidate(s) will work as part of a dynamic and multi-agency team assessing safeguarding notifications and requests for early help regarding children aged 0 - 18.
• The focus is on gathering relevant information, with due regard for consent and information sharing within information processing guidelines, in order to interpret and analyse strengths and safety, harm and danger to safeguard and promote the welfare of the child/young person.
• The MASH team is home to representatives from our partner agencies including Police and Health and refers to the virtual links we have with Housing, Probation, Education and Berkshire Women's Aid.
• It is pivotal the right candidate can work collaboratively with these agencies to make sure the child's voice is evident through the work completed. DTA is a fast paced team and requires committed and resilient social workers to rise to the challenge of this role!

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
