Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to work within an Adult Community Team for a Local Authority based in South West London.

Job Purpose

• Knowledge of current developments and legislation, national guidance and frameworks in providing a service to (a) older people and/or adults with a physical disability or sensory impairment and/or with adults with acute or chronic health care needs and/or with adults with learning disabilities and (b) to carers with the ability to advise practitioners in their application.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of the local authority's responsibilities in the safeguarding of vulnerable adults, and the ability, to lead the team in ensuring that cases related to safeguarding vulnerable adults are handled in accordance with policy and procedures. Awareness of the basic principles of budget management in order to appropriately authorise services within the Council's resources. Relevant skills for delivering community social services, supervising staff and managing performance.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
