Job description

Senior Practitioner, Children and Families

If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Children in Need, we want to hear from you.

You will be building effective relationship with the Child in question, to ensure a fully integrated and holistic approach.

Main duties include:

  • To assist the assistan5t team manager by contributing to the planning and development of the service and to assist the management of the workflow.
  • Undertake effective assessment of need, analysis and management of risk for allocated children and young people.
  • Conduct statutory work with children who are subject to Child In Need plans, Child Protection Plans or children who aree Looked After up tp the point that permanency plans are put in place.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Experience with Children in Need
