Senior Manager, Adults Commissioning, Surrey, £45ph

Remedy Social Care team are working with Surrey County Council to recruit an experienced Senior Manager for Adults Commissioning.

You will have recent experience of taking operational and strategic leadership, management, development and improvement of services.

Main duties include:

  • Responsible for the Management and supervision of the Team Manager.
  • Manage risk in relation to service delivery ensuring safeguarding issues are addressed and contribute to the corporate risk management framework.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of operational and service plans and policies and play a key role in long term plans to develop and implement new initiatives and operational systems.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Extensive up to date working knowledge of relevant national and local policy, statutory guidance and legislation in relation to the provision of social care services
  • Car driver/owner
