Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Senior Commissioner to work within a Local Authority based in East London.

Job Purpose

An experienced Commissioner/project manager, with a wealth of knowledge and experience of working in a local authority setting and/or health setting is required to establish and deliver the Local Authorities responsibilities for managing the Better Care Fund (BCF) and IBCF governance and reporting requirements.

The Councils integration agenda is being well developed. With our growing maturity as integrated system, the Council and the CCG have agreed for the LA to undertake the lead in managing the BCF from a finance and reporting point of view from April 2017.

Working in partnership with CCG colleagues, as well as internally with finance, performance and legal an experienced commissioner is required immediately to meet key deadlines towards sign off of our BCF plans in September 2017. This will require the post holder to scope all aspects of the requirements from the perspective of the different internal/external stakeholders, whilst maintain accountability to the Head of Commissioning for key milestones and deliverable. The Senior Commissioner must be a skilled communicator and have the ability to facilitate agreement from multiple stakeholders in order to shape key outputs.

This work is a high profile with tight deadlines in the first instance which must be completed on time. The Senior Commissioner needs to be proactive and visible to partners. This work must be delivered on-time within the context of complex organisational change and resistance.
