This fantastic SEN School are on the hunt for an amazing a SEN Teacher to deliver the most enriching lessons to SEN pupils. You will be teaching a range of ASD students, some requiring personal care. The classrooms are made up of students who are working at similar ability regardless of their age. Role: SEND Teacher

Contract: Full Time

Duration: Long Term

Location: Enfield, North London

Rates: £200-£240 per day

Interview: Paid Trial Days

SEN Teacher | Responsibilities

• For this SEN Teacher role, you will need to demonstrate your enthusiasm and pro-activeness. You will need to motivate these students and work with students with complex needs.
• You will need to prepare creative and innovate lessons for the students in accordance with their EHCP. Subject knowledge is vital.
• Teaching lessons, preparing lessons, marking and participation within parents' evening will be expected.

SEN Teacher | Requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
• Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
• Previous experience working with children with severe SEN and disabilities.
• Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.

SEN Teacher | Qualifications/Experience

• QTS is essential
• Subject knowledge within SEN primary is essential
• Experience working within SEN is essential. Especially working with mild/moderate needs including: ASD, ADHD, speech and language
• ECT/Newly Qualified SEN Teachers will be considered for this position
