Role Overview: We are looking for compassionate and skilled SEN Tutors to join our team in Manea, Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in special education and a deep commitment to making a positive impact on student's educational journeys. As an SEN Tutor, you will provide personalised instruction to students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customised learning plans tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each student.
- Conduct engaging and effective tutoring sessions in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
- Utilise a variety of teaching techniques and resources to support the learning and development of SEN students.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and relevant stakeholders, completing weekly reports.
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and independence.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
