The Headteacher is ready to interview and appoint a Psychology Graduate to join the team this January and work with a male pupil in Lower Key Stage 2. The child has been diagnosed with Autism and is currently doing very well at school. The role has come available due to his current Learning Support Assistant leaving the school to start his teacher training so the Headteacher is keen to appoint now so there is time for the successful candidate to come in and spend some time in school if you are available for a smooth transition and handover ready for the New Year.
The school has a recent outstanding OFSTED and is a brilliant place to work and learn. Behaviour is excellent across the school which in turn allows Teachers and support staff to do their best work and provide high quality lesson and engaging topic work to really fire up the children's imagination.
The SENCO and SEN Team work go the extra mile to make sure that children with Special Education Needs in the school have targeted and relevant education plans. They take time to really get to know the children and their families to create a secure learning environment where children with barriers to learning can access the curriculum and flourish.
If you would like to be part of this happy, purposeful team then please get in touch with a copy of your CV today. You will need to have a relevant Level 3 Education qualification or a degree, with excellent written and spoken English.
