SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Support - Isleworth, Hounslow
An SEN school in Isleworth is looking for an enthusiastic graduate with aspirations of becoming a Speech and Language Therapist or Educational Psychologist to join their schools SEN support team as a Teaching Assistant.
If you have a passion for Education and you want to gain experience before you embark on your MA in Education Psychology or S&L, then the SENco of this school wants to hear from you.
For this role, you must be an inspirational graduate who has experience supporting SEN children and a keen interest in developing your SEN understanding. The ideal SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant should be able to bring bags of enthusiasm and determination and quickly develop working relationships. The school wants to see graduates who have a lively interest in education that will be obvious in the positive approach them take in the classroom and the way they are excited to get involved in different lessons.

In this role you will be supporting students with ASD within the classroom, you will be faced with challenging behaviour throughout the day.
In this SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will be working throughout the school and you will be expanding your skill set as you learn from the SENCO. Day-to-day, you will be delivering intervention lessons to small groups of pupils or on a one to one basis. The school deliver fantastic SEN provision and you will learn how to support SEN pupils in the very best way.
