Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure high-quality provision.
  • Help create a calm, nurturing learning environment that reflects the school's values.
  • Contribute to classroom activities, behaviour management and general learning support.

About You

  • Has experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
  • Is patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting children's individual needs.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and works well within a team.
  • Is enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about helping children thrive.
  • Is respectful of and willing to uphold the school's faith-based ethos.
