KS3 SEN Teacher - Full Time

Location: Tower Hamlets
Start Date: Beginning of March (transition day week commencing 23rd February)
Contract: Full time

We are also recruiting a KS3 SEN Teacher to work with a class of 10 autistic, non-verbal students who are working below National Curriculum Year 1.

Students are sensory learners and require visuals, objects of reference and a highly structured timetable to support both learning and communication. Teaching must be practical and engaging, with clear structure and consistency throughout the day.

You will be supported by 5 Teaching Assistants and guided through curriculum planning. The role involves delivering core subjects and leading the classroom team, while students also access specialist teaching for Drama, Music, Art, Food Tech, DT and PE.

All teaching should promote communication, development and independence, with a long-term focus on preparing students for adulthood.
