Outreach Maths Teacher - Brentwood - Start Easter 2021 - Working with SEN

I am looking for an outstanding Outreach Maths Teacher to work with students on a 1:1 basis at either their houses or in the local library in the Brentwood area. The role will consist of supporting children with SEN which could include challenging behaviour, medical needs, young offenders etc. The role will be exciting and challenging and will require an energetic approach to keep the students engaged. You will need to have experience planning and adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of challenging individuals.

Experience teaching in the secondary phase is essential as well as observation, planning and feeding back to staff. You will be expected to maintain appropriate records and be responsible for updating and reviewing this frequently.

The successful Outreach Teacher will have the following:

• 1:1 Teaching Experience
• QTS or equivalent
• Secondary Curriculum knowledge
• 2 Years teaching experience in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply via us)
