SEN Teaching Assistant - Diabetes Trained
Location: Lambeth
Salary: £95-£115 per day

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with complex medical needs in a Lambeth-based school. This role requires a professional with Diabetes training and, ideally, a nursing background, to provide both educational and medical support throughout the school day.

The role:

• Supporting a student with diabetes management and day-to-day classroom participation

• Monitoring health and responding to medical needs confidently and calmly

• Working closely with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals

• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting

• Specific training or experience in Diabetes care (including insulin and glucose monitoring)

• A background in nursing or healthcare (preferred)

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
