An OFSTED rated 'Good' School based in Lewisham is looking for a 1:1 SEN with experience using Makaton and Pecs. This Primary School is short walk from local train stations and can also offer parking on site, making it a perfect location. The 2 form entry Primary School, prides itself on the pupil's good behaviour and offers a range of community projects. The Headteacher is strong on training and believes the School offers equal learning for both pupils and staff members.

This role is to start immediately and to continue up until Summer Holidays in July 2021. However, for the right candidate, there will be an opportunity for a permanent role to start in September 2021. The hours are full time, 8:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. This primary School is lucky to be able to offer a great direct Teacher training program, meaning the successful candidate would receive the chance to become a Teacher if applicable.

The successful LSA will need to have a minimum of 3 months' experience working with SEN children and up to a BTEC degree. Alternatively, the School will consider someone with a University degree and 3 months' experience with Children (not in a classroom setting) and a keen interest in working with SEN children.

This Primary School is looking to interview in the next few weeks, and start someone ASAP. The successful candidate will need to be available almost immediately as the interview will be a trial day, followed by an immediate start if successful.
