We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Downs Syndrome in a primary school. The pupil is in Key Stage 2 and requires 1 to 1 support in lessons and during some playtimes. The school are looking for a teaching assistant who is pro-active and caring but can also encourage independence.

You will idealy have some previous knowledge of working with children or adults with downs syndrome. The position is to start in September and the school are looking for someone who can commit to the role for the full academic year.

You will work 8.30 - 4.00 with one hour lunch break. Monday - Friday term time only.
